Specially Chosen Professional Coaches

Core Ski Camps Whistler Canada'

The right coach makes all the difference to your ski camp experience, which is why we have carefully compiled an all-star cast of experienced and certified local coaches and guest pros. We are all fully certified with years of coaching experience, are long time locals with intimate knowledge of Whistler-Blackcomb and its sweet-spots, and have larger-than-life personalities. Our passion for coaching and dedication to helping you improve is obvious. You’ll advance your overall free-skiing and freestyle skills all over the mountains with the best coaches in the biz! And of course we can’t say that you won’t learn a thing or two on the chairlifts!

Unrivaled Mountain Knowledge

Core Ski Camps Whistler Canada'

Our coaches have been living and riding in Whistler for years, and it’s because of this that we know the absolute best spots to ski - every hidden powder run and secret spot on the mountains! Our excitement to share our knowledge provides campers an unparalleled skiing experience, and campers always express their thanks for this! Imagine arriving at a new resort and suddenly skiing only the best terrain for every day’s snow conditions. Yes please! This important point really does make all the difference. From understanding weather patterns and knowing what a “gorbie gap” is, to specific skiing techniques for specific types of powder, the info exchange is colossal. You’ll hear about our favorite après spots, the stylish way to grab tail, and even to how to score free hot chocolate!
We know all the secret spots, hidden fun runs, jump runs, powder runs behind walls of trees, deep powder spots, untracked powder runs, cool tree runs, hidden cliffs and drops, deserted groomers and cruisers. We’ve hit every jump, every bump and every jib around every corner! Even seasoned Whistler locals don’t know the spots we know- we’re that good. Whistler and Blackcomb’s terrain is huge- you’ll understand when you get here!

Low Camper-to-Coach Ratio

Core Ski Camps Whistler Canada'

Our small groups mean lots of personal feedback, focus and attention. Training within a small group of a similar level is a great way to promote learning and to keep it personal. We have a low camper-to-coach ratio, which averages 4:1 with an absolute maximum of 5:1. We also keep our overall weekly campers number low so that everybody really gets to know each other. The only problem with this is that it makes it more difficult for you to leave!

Improvement and Confidence

Core Ski Camps Whistler Canada'

Skiing with someone at a higher level than you- visually seeing it done right- skiing in a small group where everyone is pushing each other to succeed- and focused, immediate feedback is the fastest way to improvement. This is how it’s done with Core Camps! You push yourself, your confidence and each other every day, and sometimes without even knowing it! Combine all of this with riding the best terrain of the day and a smiling, positive group – it will all catapult your progress and comfort level. Tried, tested and true, this results in real ski improvement. That’s how we roll.testimonials >>
